What should I know about charging?+
Use the original charger matched to the model, in a cool, dry, ventilated place. Let the battery cool after riding, keep it away from heat and water, and disconnect according to the charger instructions when charging is complete.
Why does actual range vary?+
Load, speed, stop-start traffic, gradients, tyre pressure, weather and battery condition affect range. Reference range and ideal-condition figures should be read separately.
What should I check before riding?+
Check tyres and pressure, both brakes, lights, mirrors and charge level. Have unusual sounds, changes in braking or electrical faults inspected by suitable service personnel.
Do self-sealing tyres need maintenance?+
Yes. Self-sealing is intended for certain small punctures, not sidewall damage, large cuts or every loss of pressure. Inspect pressure and tread and have damage checked.
